Private Classes for New or Established Students

Private classes with Black Sash instructors or Sifu Dave are available for Adult, Junior and Youth Students—for both new and established students. Speak directly with Sifu Dave to make arrangements.

Please note, during the summer months, due to the combined schedule, additional times become available for private lessons.

Private classes can help you to:

Competition Team

Tournament competition is the sport aspect of the martial arts. With it, students of kung-fu, and other martial arts have the opportunity to compete against students of other disciplines in the many tournaments held year-round. WKFA offers a Competition Team Membership for students who wish to compete. Find out more about the WKFA Competition Team.

Training Logs

Students are required to obtain a 3-ring binder to create a training log or journal. The binder should be separated into five sections:

  1. Newsletters
  2. Handouts
  3. Training Notes
  4. Important Dates
  5. Miscellaneous

The materials in your Enrolment Kit are to be kept in your binder in the appropriate sections. The guiding principle for keeping handouts is, "if it has three holes punched in it…it’s a keeper."
