Sifu Anita has had the privilege of working with many students of varying ranks and ages throughout her time with WKFA. In fact, assisting with classes as a Leadership Team member is what made her choose a career in education. She has also been involved with the Demonstration Team, alongside her brothers.

Sifu Anita currently assists with the Yellow Belt and Orange Stripe class, as well as the Little Ninjas. She has several family members who train at the school as well.

Outside of Kung Fu, Sifu Anita works as a teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board, specializing in French as a Second Language. In her spare time she enjoys crafts such as crochet and card making.

Over the years, he has taught youth, junior, and adult students of all ranks, however he is most known for his “Back to Basics” Sunday lunch class. He was one of the original members of the WFKA’s Competition Team started by Sigung Bob in early 90s and also was fortunate to learn under Grand Master Pan Qing Fu.

He has taken his training from WKFA across the world and trained and taught Kung Fu while living in London, Grenada, New York, Newfoundland and India.

He completed his MD in 2005 and is currently a General Pediatrician in Toronto, however still actively attends class and teaches when needed.

He has recently rounded out his kung-fu training by becoming a yoga instructor in India in 2019 and is currently a student of 34th generation Shaolin monk, Shifu Yuan Jing, where he is learning both traditional Shaolin and Qi Gong.

Sifu Erich teaches the Junior Novice I class and assists with a number of other classes, as well as participating in Competition team, Demo team and various seminars and events.

Outside of kung fu, Sifu Erich works in computer engineering, doing hardware and software. In his spare time, he also enjoys cycling, swimming, and playing video games with his friends.

Sifu D’Arcy teaches the Adult Red to Green class on Thursday nights and assists with a number of other classes. He is a member of the WKFA Lion Dance Team, has been active in the Demonstration Team, and can be seen doing crazy things with the Performance Team.

Outside of the academy, Sifu D’Arcy is an avid reader of all things Fantasy and spends as much time outdoors as he can.

Following a 10-year hiatus, she returned to WKFA in 2015 with renewed dedication to training. She then went on to achieve her Black Sash in November 2020, overcoming challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sifu Laura teaches the Wednesday 8:30pm Adult Orange+ Class.

Outside of Kung Fu, she enjoys running, playing the violin and reading.

He has an Optical practice in Waterloo and has been serving our community since 1998 as an Optician.

Sifu Neel teaches the family class Sunday mornings to all levels.

Outside of Kung Fu, Sifu Neel is a Certified Financial Planner.

He is also an enthusiastic home cook, regularly spending hours in the kitchen honing his skills. He also enjoys cross-training activities, including weight lifting.

Sifu Charlie instructs the Saturday Youth Red Belt class and Saturday 12:30pm Adult Mixed Class.

Outside of Kung Fu, he is pursuing a music degree at Wilfrid Laurier University where he works on playing and writing music, as well as researching music history. In his spare time, Sifu Charlie enjoys playing guitar.

You’ll most often catch Sifu Harry at the kwoon later in the evening, either teaching Monday nights or training himself. He enjoys all things related to the annual breaking seminar, and when he’s not busy breaking boards or cement, he can usually be found fixing something on his sailboat.
