Demonstration Team Tryouts – Sat. Mar 17 & 24, 2018

2018 Kung Fu Demonstration Team

Interested in joining the 2018 Demonstration Team? Come try out!

Tryout Schedule:

Tryout Stage 1: Saturday, March 17, 8:00am – 9:00am

Starting with a brief meeting outlining goals and plans for the team
We will teach you a sequence according to your rank to learn and practice

Tryout Stage 2: Saturday, March 24, 8:00am – 9:00am

You will show us your sequence

Please note: If you cannot attend BOTH tryout sessions, it is your responsibility to make alternate arrangements with the coordinating Sifus in advance of the first tryout date.

Commitment:

Practices: Saturday mornings
8:00am – 9:00am
April – September, except on long weekends.

Demonstrations: At events around the city, generally on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

Sign Up: To try out for the team, please sign up on the sheet in the weight room.

Note: Youth-Junior Classes will be combined at 4:45pm – 5:45pm. The tryouts take place between the combined Youth-Junior Class and the Adult Novice class.

Schedule:

Brief Meeting for members and parents.
Learn a Sequence.
Practice the Sequence independently.
Present the Sequence: Saturday, April 2, 2016, 8:00am – 9:00am.

If you are unable to attend the above dates, please arrange a time to review or present the sequence with Sifu Anne or Sifu Lorna.
