In-Person Kung-Fu Classes

I just want to say I’m really appreciative of everyone here because my son used to have confidence issues and he also has some behavioural issues that we work with Kidsability on, but during kung-fu, he’s a completely different kid.

It has given him so much confidence in himself and seeing him as happy as he is with working up the skill stripes and belts is such a nice feeling!

Great grading today! Our son is really enjoying his Kung-Fu training and it means a lot to us that he is so excited to attend each week. It’s the first time we’ve attended anything like that and it seemed really well run, professional, and very informative.

Our son had been looking forward to it from the moment he found out about it. It was great to see firsthand today all the training that he and his fellow students had undertaken and how committed they are. Thank you for that.

You clearly have their respect and it means a lot that our son’s growth is in very capable hands. Again, thanks for all you do and how excellently you do it.

The instructors at WKFA are exceptional in teaching not only the technical aspects of Kung Fu, but also the artistic and spiritual aspects of it. This necessarily results in developing a more complete, well-rounded, and robust character, and not just someone who physically ‘knows how to defend oneself.’

WKFA’s approach to teaching is most impressive. It functions as more than just a school, but as a community in which its instructors are personally invested in the growth, development, and overall well-being of their students.

I have two daughters who have been students at WKFA for approximately ten years. After witnessing my children’s progress and development since they started, I can confidently say that enrolling them at WKFA was one of the best parenting decisions that I have made thus far.

For 10 years, our whole family has been training here in some form or other. Our kids are moving up through the ranks, starting as Little Ninjas. We now have a junior, two youths and our littlest will be a Ninja when they turn 4.

All of us have found friends and camaraderie as well as fitness and fun. I loved the women-only classes on Friday mornings where I was allowed to bring my small children, and my husband loves the early-morning classes in addition to the classes at his sash-level.

We’ve signed various kids up for dance, gymnastics, swimming and hockey, but nothing else allows the whole family to participate at their own levels and pace. And nothing else has been as affordable!!!! (Love the family discounts and reasonable cost of uniforms and equipment!)
