In August 2007, Sifu Kevin, Sifu Evan and Sifu Dave had the very fortunate opportunity to visit several parts of China, with the goal of bringing home to WKFA new knowledge and insight into the martial art of Kung-Fu and Chinese culture.
We journeyed with several other students as part of the Canadian International Kuoshu Wushu Federation (CIKWF) led by Sifu Augustine Ngu. We were very warmly received at both the Southern Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou and the Northern Taoist Temple in the beautiful Wudang Mountains. We learned more than we could have imagined both from a kung-fu and a cultural perspective.
