Used Uniform & Equipment Sale, Sat. Dec 9, 2023 – Proceeds to the FoodBank!
We understand rising costs and how they impact household budgets. To assist people who are looking for a less expensive uniform option, we offer used uniforms, equipment, and spirit wear.
We organize, store and coordinate used uniforms and equipment seeking a new home in exchange for cash donations to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region! Last year we raised over $1000 and this year we are already over $700. Annually we post a letter from the Foodbank confirming the funds donated.

Donation Recommendations:
For used equipment, the donation you make is your choice; as a guideline, we recommend about 1/4 of full pre-tax pricing. For example, $10 for a used t-shirt or pants.

Please consider donating your used items to the Academy! Ensure items are clean and in good repair, then simply drop them off at the office.
About Our Uniforms
In the traditional martial arts, students are expected to take responsibility for their uniform—this includes having a clean, properly fitted uniform with no rips or holes.
We proudly offer a very high quality uniform that should last for many years. Both the pants and t-shirts are a cotton-polyester blend that results in good resiliency. Longer lasting uniforms result in a more positive impact on the environment and better value for you.
Not only is our uniform long-lasting, we also ensure that they are from ethically made sources. Read more about where our t-shirts are from on the Jerico apparel website.
We are also proud of our logo and the t-shirt design. The t-shirt has three screening locations and four colours, which does add to the cost considerably. Given the design, quality and ethical sourcing, the t-shirts can be comparatively more expensive, but they are priced very fairly and we offer family discounts.
